UTVS and KVSC combine for 16 Sevareid Awards

UTVS TV and KVSC 88.1 FM combined for 16 Sevareid Awards at the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association banquet April 11 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The annual awards are named for Emmy- and Peabody-winning reporter, the late Eric Sevareid (1912-1992). Download the list of award winners (docx).

The “Husky Mag” program earned a first-place award in the Sportscast/Program category. Student-run UTVS News has a crew of about 20 students. UTVS TV broadcasts on the St. Cloud-area Charter cable system.
