Hurricane Ian hit Florida toward the end of September, leaving destruction and tragedy in its wake. Hundreds of lives were lost between Cuba and the southeastern United States, and damages upward of $50 billion were sustained. Throughout it all, St. Cloud State University alumnus Gordon Severson '10 was on the ground to bear witness.
The St. Cloud State University Library has a new offering to cater to student parents, recently opening a Student Parent Study Room in the James W. Miller Learning Resources Center. The space supports student parents by allowing them to bring along their child or children while they complete their coursework.
Winners for the Miller Center Student Art Show were announced Nov. 17 on the first floor of the James W. Miller Learning Resources Center, with Isaiah Okongo taking first prize for his pen and ink drawing of the Granite Exchange Building in downtown St. Cloud. Art will be displayed in the Miller Center First Floor West until Jan. 13.
