St. Cloud State’s Director of Financial Aid, Mike Uran, has earned the 2014-15 Distinguished Service Award from the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) for his years of service and contributions to the association.
“He has contributed much to the financial aid profession,” said Rita Taylor, assistant director of Financial Aid. “We are fortunate to have him as our director of Financial Aid at St. Cloud State.”
A committee, comprised of the past five Distinguished Service Award recipients and chaired by the most recent recipient, reviews the contributions of nominees and selects the recipient.
Uran was presented the award May 8 at the association’s spring conference.
