Keloland Television Sioux Falls, S.D. — The Sioux Falls Stampede announced Friday that Nick Oliver ’15 has been named assistant coach with the club. He replaces Dallas Steward who stepped down to pursue another coaching opportunity. Christian Bragnalo remains with the team as an assistant coach/strength coach for the Herd.
Oliver is a native of Roseau, Minnesota and spent the past four seasons skating at St. Cloud State University. He served as captain this past season while leading the Huskies to the NCAA West Regional championship game. He was a member of the Huskies WCHA McNaughton Cup championship in 2013 and NCHC Penrose Cup Championship in 2014 where he also skated as an assistant captain. He was a member of the Huskies first trip to the NCAA Frozen Four in 2012-13.
