College hockey: SCSU captain excited to start coaching

St. Cloud Times — Nick Oliver started throwing around the idea while he was on Christmas break.

When his eligibility with the St. Cloud State men’s hockey team was completed in March, it started to be more of a target.

Then he graduated in May with a finance degree, and he started to get some help to make it a more viable option.

Last week, Oliver became an assistant coach for the Sioux Falls (South Dakota) Stampede, a junior hockey team in the United States Hockey League.
