Audience members will travel the world within two hours with international students representing their cultures and attendees visiting the booths representing the different countries. It is the final of three cultural events happening at St. Cloud State this weekend including Karen Cultural Day and “Aathidhyam,” an India cultural event.
Attendees will be given a “passport” at the entrance and have the opportunity to travel around the room and get a visa sticker at each station. Students will be giving performances throughout the event, and no food will be served.
“We hope that the audience will learn the different faces of the world; that they will open their minds and see that there are more sides of the world that they haven’t seen,” said Shu Yi Valerie Ang, International Student Association president. “This event will give them the opportunity to make new friends from all over the world.”
