Information sessions on the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) and careers in the U.S. Department of State will be featured topics during the U.S. Department of State’s visit to St. Cloud State University Jan. 28 in Centennial Hall.
The event schedule includes:
- Careers in the U.S. Department of State – 4 p.m., Centennial Hall 207
- Foreign Service Officer Test info session – 5:30-7:30 p.m., Centennial Hall 207
Attendees of the Careers in the U.S. Department of State session will get an overview about the vast array of opportunities including: internships, professional fellowships, civil service and foreign service careers available.
The detailed FSOT session offers tips and suggestions on how to prepare for the FSOT which is required for U.S. diplomats. The FSOT is administered three times each year in February, June and October. The upcoming FSOT dates are Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.
The events are free and open to the public.
