St. Cloud State students and North Junior High Chinese immersion program students are learning about Beijing opera.
St. Cloud State students and North Junior High Chinese immersion program students are teaming up to put on a performance celebrating the Chinese Year of the Monkey 1:30-2:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Atwood Memorial Center Little Theatre.

The immersion students and members of the St. Cloud State Chinese Students and Scholars Association will put on the collaborative performance under the direction of Ghaffar Pourazar, an expert of Beijing opera and dance.
Pourazar is facilitating a workshop for the collaborative group throughout the day Feb. 26, culminating with the afternoon performance.
The workshop and performance is being presented by the St. Cloud State Confucius Institute. Admission to the performance is free and open to the public.
