“Cuti-cuti Malaysia” is a night of food, entertainment and traditional performances put on by the Malaysian Student Association from 5-8 p.m. March 19 in the Atwood Memorial Center ballroom.

“Cuti-cuti Malaysia” or “Malaysia Holiday” will feature classic Malaysian cuisine and cultural booths for attendees to enjoy.
The Malaysian Student Association is one of the oldest cultural student associations at St. Cloud State. Malaysian Night is one way students in the group join together and bond as well as spread awareness about their culture and country.
“I love my country, and I think it is a great country, which gives me all the more reason to teach people about Malaysia,” said Edric Ang, Malaysian Student Association president.
Admission is $6 for students and faculty or $8 for general admission. The first 50 attendees get $1 off.
Cultural festivals are one way the university is providing a transformative educational experience for students to help prepare them to be global citizens at home, at work and in their communities. More than 1,000 students from 90-plus nations attend St. Cloud State, and cultural festivals give them an opportunity to share elements of their culture with the campus community.
