About 1,200 students participated in Commencement ceremonies 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 6 at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
They are among 1,619 students from five continents and 32 U.S. states who earned degrees spring semester. The degree earners include 1,267 undergraduate students, 344 graduate students and eight doctoral students.
Delivering the student address at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony was Aaron Cross, St. Cloud, who earned a master of science degree in rehabilitation counseling.
The student speaker at 3 p.m. was Syntyche Koumaglo, Lome, Togo. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
