Chinese hot-pot cooking class

The Confucius Institute taught a cooking class in the basement of Lawrence Hall for International Education week.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the institute taught people how to make Chinese hot-pot, a traditional recipe

International Education Week, Nov. 13-17, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education. It is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education and aims to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and have experiences in new cultures.
