LITCHFIELD INDEPENDENT REVIEW —Melanie Lawrence, a Litchfield resident originally from Hutchinson, has spent the past 10 years teaching students the importance of physical education.
Her dedication to her students in the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted school district, through education and activity, has earned her the Minnesota Society of Health and Physical Educators (MNSHAPE) Teacher of the Year award.
