Fans gathered March 14 in Atwood Memorial Center to celebrate Huskies Wrestling’s NCAA Division II national championship and to honor a dynasty that has produced three national titles in four seasons and four second-place finishes since 2011.
Heather Weems, director of Huskies Athletics, told onlookers that Huskies wrestlers shake hands with their opponents and opposing coaches after every bout — the mark of a model NCAA Division II program.
