The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra honored St. Cloud State University’s Sesquicentennial celebration with “Generations,” a classical music concert on Feb. 23 in Stewart Hall’s Ritsche Auditorium.
The concert featured a stirring performance of Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Opus 125” including its grand finale “Ode to Joy.”
Other performers that took part in the concert were the St. Cloud State Choir and Great River Chorale. The Generations Concert marked 43 years of partnership between the symphony and the University. The concert was made possible in part, by support from the University’s Sesquicentennial Partners.
