St. Cloud State University students, faculty and staff participated in several programs on Veterans Day, a day where we come together to honor and say thank you to the veterans who have served in the United States military.
The St. Cloud State Veterans Resource Center, in partnership with the St. Cloud State Student Veterans Organization and the St. Cloud State Men’s Choir, presented a video on Veterans Day commemorating this important federal holiday:
- hear from the leaders of the Student Veterans Organization
- listen to a portion of a special interview with 101-year-old WWII combat veteran, POW, and survivor of the infamous Bataan Death March – Walt Straka
- hear the St. Cloud State Men’s Choir perform a special tribute for St. Cloud State and the surrounding St. Cloud area veterans.
