St. Cloud State University’s Open House: Discover Red & Black had a record turnout last week, with over 600 total students and family members touring campus between Oct. 17-19.
“We were incredibly excited to see all the departments across campus come together to show prospective students what SCSU is all about,” said Michael Hanna, Director of Undergraduate Admissions. “Students were able to explore and decide exactly what they were looking for.”
All six colleges and schools and over 20 departments and academic units across campus were on hand for the Resource Fair, while guided and self-guided tours continued throughout the three-day event.
SCSU’s campus television and radio studios, campus recreation and athletic facilities, esports arena, dorm showrooms and various academic areas were all available to tour during the open house.
Discover Red & Black is held each fall during MEA Break and continues to grow, with last’s weeks total attendance surpassing the totals from 2022 and 2023 combined.
