St. Cloud State University will host the 16th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference later this month from Jan. 30 – Feb. 1. This year’s theme is “Empowering Self, Uplifting Community”.
The event, held in partnership with the Minnesota State Office of Equity and Inclusion, provides attendees with interactive workshops and activities to help build leadership skills for career development and personal growth.
A collection of experienced keynote speakers will also present throughout the three-day event.
“This conference offers a valuable platform for students and the community to engage with influential speakers and expand their leadership skills,” said Shahzad Ahmad, Associate Vice President of Center for International Studies. “Attendees have the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of professionals and network with peers.”
This networking will take place at the Diversity Job and Internship Fair in SCSU’s Atwood Memorial Center on Friday, Jan. 31. Over 100 employers will be present, and an SCSU Graduate School Fair will also be held for those looking to continue their education.
