Celebrate “Sanskriti: A Medley of Traditions” with the India Heritage Club 5:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom.

The event will feature performances showcasing everything from traditional dance forms to beat boxing and an Indian meal cooked by India Heritage Club members.
“The goal of the night is to showcase the various traditions rooting from India — both modern and traditional,” said Sruthi Shankar, India Heritage Club secretary.
Admission to the student showcase and meal is $8 for students or $10 for the general public, faculty and staff. Student tickets are $7 if purchased in advance from India Heritage Club members selling tickets in Atwood.
“We are very excited to showcase India Night, and we hope that many, many members of the campus community will be able to join us,” she said.
Cultural festivals are one way the university is providing a transformative educational experience for students to help prepare them to be global citizens at home, at work and in their communities.
More than 1,000 students from 90-plus nations attend St. Cloud State, and cultural festivals give them an opportunity to share elements of their culture with the campus community.
