B.S. degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Sports Management from the University of Missouri.


Biography

Andrew Melroe was hired by St. Cloud State Athletics in Aug. 2021 to oversee the department’s communications staff and spearhead the department’s publicity and digital strategy for its 17 varsity sports. Melroe returned to his home state after beginning his career at Mizzou Athletics (2013-14, 2015-21), the Mountain West Conference (2014-15) and Minnesota State Moorhead Athletics (2014-15).

 

At St. Cloud State, Melroe and his team manage media relations, the department’s website (scsuhuskies.com), social media coverage, statistical and historical coverage, and a growing team of graduate assistants and student interns.
