Biography
Dr. Hiral Shah received her M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University and BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. Dr. Shah is an Editor of the Guide to the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK) guidebook and co-editor of the Engineering Management Handbook which are published by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM). She led the certification exam development for the CAEM and CPEM certification exams offered by ASEM. She is a fellow of ASEM and is a Certified Enterprise Integrator (CEI), Certified Professional in Engineering Management (CPEM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Her research interests are in the area of online teaching, curriculum and certification exam development, project management, and lean manufacturing.
