Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Kansas
Sarah received her B.S. in Geology from Southern Utah University, M.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas, and Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Kansas. Sarah’s research focuses on the evolutionary relationships and major changes occurring in extinct fishes of the Early Mesozoic. Her work incorporates anatomy and morphology, within a phylogenetic context, to address questions related to how these fishes adapted and evolved to exploit new ecological opportunities following major mass-extinction events.
