Meyer, Meyer Pants on Fire earned third place.

Stefan’s Dream was led this year by captains Alison Feigh ’10, St. Paul, and Charlie Gallagher, Minneapolis. Teams in the Stefan’s Dream lineage won titles in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2010, 2009 and 2005.

“This is our 20th year. So, it’s super-fun to be back up on the podium for year number 20,” said Feigh.

“We mainly want to thank the question writers, the volunteers, the production staff — everyone who puts this on,” she said.

Lead question writers were Chad Schmitz ’98, a St. Cloud State technology coordinator, and Bruce Petersen, retired Stearns County dispatcher and jailer.

Assisting this year with questions was Tom Steman, university archivist. Trivia Weekend marked its 40th year with a focus on St. Cloud State history, a nod to the University’s 150th anniversary.

Stefan’s Dream earned a second honor during Sunday night’s Ritsche Auditorium award ceremony. The team was named to the Trivia Weekend Hall of Fame.

Trivia Weekend debuted in 1980 with 50 teams. The contest was organized by KVSC and Residents Hall Association.
