TPT — An artist residency in Beijing inspired visual artist and St. Cloud State professor Shana Kaplow’s recent body of work, “Close to Home,” which explores themes of identity, particularly as the self relates to a collective.
Kaplow combines video projection and her variously photo-realistic and abstract ink-on-paper drawings to further reflect on identity as it relates to her experience as an adoptive parent.
