St. Cloud State’s Alumni Relations office has announced two dates and topics for its spring semester of the Huskies U Webinar Series for professional development and personal enrichment for St Cloud State alumni.
“We plan to provide topics our alumni find relevant to their profession and personal life. The majority of our subject matter experts will be St. Cloud State alumni. Webinars will be offered on a weekday throughout the year,” said Terri Mische, director of alumni relations and executive director of the St. Cloud State University Alumni Association.
The semester series will kick off on Tuesday, March 17 at 12:00 p.m. Central time with a webinar on leadership skills hosted by Jennifer Stottler, Senior Human Resources Manager for Doherty Employment Group. This webinar will offer tips on how to unleash the talent and capability of teams, building leadership skills, and differentiate the skills needed for managing and leadership.
On Thursday, April 16 (start time to be determined), Dr. Mary Soroko, Etiquette Specialist, SCSU Professor and alumna, will address the topic of business etiquette essentials by looking at a variety of business etiquette topics, including professional behavior on the job, business vs. business casual vs. casual dress in the workplace, and business dining situations.
The spring series will conclude on Wednesday, May 20 with a webinar presented by Rebecca Bibleheimer, Senior Philanthropic Advsior and Carol Fedorchak, Vice President and Regional Manager of Real Estate Asset Management, from US Bank to discuss charitable giving using real estate. The start time for this webinar is being finalized.
