St. Cloud Times — Get up early and go to bed late.
That’s the life of a sports radio talk show host who also does play-by-play announcing on the side. But Dave Overlund wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I always played sports growing up and went to a lot of games. I was always involved with sports,” said Overlund, a 2000 Apple Valley High School graduate. “This is something I always wanted to do and I figured out a way to get paid for it.”
Overlund graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2012 and landed a job with Townsquare Media in January 2013. He’s best known for co-hosting the Granite City Sports Show from noon-3 p.m. every weekday on KXSS-AM, but his job starts a lot earlier.
