Central Minnesota’s premier summer parade will feature a powerful St. Cloud State presence.
The Granite City Days Parade begins 10 a.m. June 27 at Hester Park in near-north St. Cloud. The 100-plus units will travel south on Sixth Avenue North, then west on St. Germain Street, ending at the St. Cloud Public Library.

Front-and-center in the St. Cloud State unit will be the Huskies Wrestling NCAA D-II national championship trophy, earned this spring in St. Louis.
St. Cloud State will have six vehicles in the parade, including a restored 1957 Chevrolet carrying Blizzard T. Husky and vehicles promoting KVSC 88.1 FM and its fledgling sister station, 97.5 RadioX.
The Dance Team will perform throughout the parade route, with support from cheerleaders.
Expected to walk the route will be student-athletes, members of the Student-Parent Support Group, members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and university employees.
