More than 300 students from Anoka High School’s pilot Bridge to College program visited St. Cloud State in April for presentations, student panels and campus tours. The student group put together a video about their visit with glowing reviews of St. Cloud State campus, professors, students and staff.

Anoka’s Bridge to College program is completing its first year this spring. The program focuses on ninth-grade students in the academic middle to ready them for concurrent enrollment courses by their junior year of high school. Bridge to College adds a third trimester of math to “proficient” freshmen’s schedules.
St. Cloud State University and fellow Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campus Anoka-Ramsey Community College are partners.
