More than 200 art vendors, as well as food stands, free entertainment and children’s activities, drew thousands to the Lemonade Concert and Art Fair June 25 at St. Cloud State.
St. Cloud State’s signature summer event featured performances by the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra and the opening ceremony of St. Cloud’s annual community festival, Granite City Days.
Lemonade 2015 also kicks off the summer Celebrate! St. Cloud State weekend of events.
The Little Lemons Art Park offered children art projects, paint projects, bean bags, craft projects and performance art.
In the World Commons children and families got a glimpse of a Grimm fairy tale production and a taste of music, while outside Centennial Hall they had the chance to paint their own ceramic plate or cup.
The Heels and a Stage student theater group put on three family-friendly showings of “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon,” the group’s first performance, said Director Abbey Oelke.
The play weaves together several classic fairy tales in a comedic show. The group will perform the original play for their college peers during the first week of classes.
