Mueller has roots in St. Cloud, as a graduate of Apollo High School and St. Cloud State University. But Chisel is relatively new in town; the smiling mascot with flaming-red mustache debuted last season after new owners changed the St. Cloud River Bats name in 2012 to St. Cloud Rox. (The local minor league team had been the Rox from 1946-71.)
