St. Cloud Times — Rain prevented last Tuesday’s Walk in the Park from taking place at Centennial Park.
But we’re hoping for sunnier skies this week when we hit the trail — the Beaver Islands Trail, that is.
This week’s Walk in the Park will begin at noon Tuesday at the shelter near the trailhead at 1503 Third Ave. S — just south of St. Cloud State University’s Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Charlotte Stephens of the Natural Parks and Trails Coalition is scheduled to be on hand to talk about the trail and the area it passes through.
