The Oct. 22-23 Survive and Thrive Conference at St. Cloud State has speakers, discussion panels, music, art work and workshops that will focus attention on people who deal with sudden cardiac arrest, brain injury and cancer. View the conference program (PDF).
In its fourth year, the conference offers:
- Continuing education units in Health Humanities and Narrative as Medicine
- Encouraging ways to convey artistic expression
- Participant testimonies
- Healing through performances and writing
Conference sessions are in Atwood Memorial Center. Parking is available across the street in the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp.
