St. Cloud Times — Do you trust your neighbors? How often do you meet new people?
Researchers are calling St. Cloud-area residents this week in an attempt to find the community’s answers to those questions. The Central Minnesota Community Foundation is partnering with the St. Cloud Times and other organizations to conduct a social capital survey in the area for the third time in 11 years.
The School of Public Affairs at St. Cloud State University has been contracted to conduct the research. Researchers hope to survey more than 500 people in the area to measure social capital, or the strength of the connections people have to their communities.
