Melrose — Hundreds of people will gather in Melrose on Sunday at the Latino Health Fair to learn how to better care for themselves and their families.
St. Cloud State’s Center for Continuing Studies, CentraCare Health and other organizations are offering the annual winter event to connect Latino families with Central Minnesota services.
The fair will offer everything from health screenings and dental care to information on finances and relationships.
In the last two to three years, the fair has attracted between 250 and 300 people in just three hours, said Elizabeth Valencia-Borgert, an organizer and community outreach director for the center.
“People are coming back … and they’re bringing their friends because of word of mouth,” she said.
