Seven St. Cloud State teams are jumping into the frigid waters of Pleasant Lake to raise funds for Special Olympics Minnesota.
Polar Plunge, the statewide law enforcement fundraiser for Minnesota athletes with intellectual disabilities, has 20 events from Warroad to Owatonna.
The St. Cloud event has raised $588,169 since 2010. Last winter 530 St. Cloud area plungers raised more than $82,000. Join the fun 1 p.m. Feb. 20 at Pleasant Lake, southwest of St. Cloud.
