The St. Cloud State University men’s hockey weekend match-up versus the University of Minnesota-Duluth will be featured on national and regional television platforms Feb. 26-27.
The third-ranked Huskies will be the focus of the CBS Sports Network Feb. 26 and FOX Sports North Plus/FOX College Sports (FSN+/FCS) on Feb. 27.
Saturday night’s match-up on FSN+/FCS will be produced entirely by St. Cloud State’s student-run, Husky Productions.
“Being able to have our games broadcast to such a large audience really enables us to connect with alumni and fans from across the country,” said Katelynn Halter, producer. “The freedom and trust that the University and athletics has in Husky Productions is incredible, especially since we are all students.”
The 25-6-1 Huskies are tied for first in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) with the University of North Dakota and are pushing for a No. 1 seed in the 2016 NCAA Men’s Hockey Tournament.
Friday’s game on CBS Sports Network can be seen on Charter 807, DirecTV 221 and Dish Network 158.
Saturday’s game on FSN+/FCS can be seen on Charter 227/827, DirecTV 668-2 and Dish Network 443/9581.
Both games can be heard live on St. Cloud State’s KVSC FM 88.1.
