Charlie Lindgren is not getting too carried away with how his NHL debut went.
Lindgren won his first start in goal for the Montreal Canadiens on April 7 against the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, North Carolina. The season ended for the Canadiens two days later and Lindgren is back in St. Cloud to finish his spring semester courses at St. Cloud State University.
The former Huskies goalie also will be back working for his parents, Bob Jr. and Jennifer, who own Minnehaha Falls Nursery and Landscape in south Minneapolis.
“They’re getting some flowers in this week and we’ve got some big orders coming in,” Lindgren said. “I’m going to help them out. It’s the least I can do for all that they’ve done for me.”
