I am an international student here at St. Cloud State University. I did not know what life at St. Cloud would be, but I was excited to be at a new school. I would be honest to say that being in a new place is a big decision. I came here because of school, and I wanted to focus on school and not even socialize at all because I thought it would be a big distraction.
I came to St. Cloud in fall 2014 as a new student who knew no one and was worried about how I would do in school academically. I started my classes and my classes were hard for me, and I was so sure that I was going to leave soon because I could not be successful at St. Cloud. I was very sure that I would not last here.
