Phillip Klaphake has numerous ties to the area, from being arguably the greatest quarterback in St. Cloud State history to participating in three sports at Princeton High School.
Fresh off of earning his master’s degree in educational administration and leadership at SCSU, the 26-year-old also sought a new challenge closer to home after being an assistant football and baseball coach at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter.
He’s the new head football coach at Sauk Rapids.
