ST. CLOUD, Minnesota — St. Cloud State University student Jonathan Orosz, Shakopee, has earned the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship for Short-term Study in Japan.
Orosz is an English major and junior at St. Cloud State. He is studying abroad at Seinan Gakuin University for the 2016-17 school year.
The scholarship is for 80,000 Yen per month, which will equal about $6,860 over his nine months of study at Seinan Gakuin University.
JASSO offers scholarships for international students who are studying at Japanese institutions with the goal of fostering creative leaders and promoting international understanding and exchange.
