Contractors are working seven days a week to get Atwood Memorial Center eateries and other campus food establishments operating, according to Matt Trombley, the student union’s interim executive director.
Remodeling and new construction are the work of Chartwells, St. Cloud State’s new dining and catering provider. Below are scheduled opening dates.
Aug. 17
International Market, lower level, Atwood
Freshëns Fresh Food Studio offers healthy, fast-casual, prepared-to-order food inspired by fresh ingredients. Signature items include fresh-blended smoothies and frozen yogurt.
Za’tar is a quick-service, eastern Mediterranean concept with classic recipes and a modern twist. All products are freshly made on-site using fresh, local, quality ingredients.
Burrito Bowl offers signature bowls, burritos and salads with a unique international flair.
Chef Jet is a fast, fresh, flavorful, quick-serve concept based on modern Asian cuisine. It offers rice and noodles, lean meats marinated in spicy and savory sauces and an infinite combination of crisp, fresh vegetables topped with tangy seasonings.
Sushi Do has authentic Japanese-style sushi, but with appropriate changes for western tastes. Our management team has sushi chefs with a combined 45 years of experience in Japan and the United States.
Mini ‘C’ Convenience Store offers grab-and-go convenience store items.

Axle Grill Food Truck will park on Atwood’s southwest side, near Centennial Hall.
Wandering Mug, a coffee shop on wheels, will park on Atwood’s southeast corner, near the Atwood Grill.
Atwood Grill is on the mall, near the southeast corner of Atwood.
Valhalla Dining is an upscale buffet on Atwood’s lower level.

Chick-fil-A has chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and fresh-squeezed lemonade. Chick-fil-A also offers chicken nuggets, salads, grilled sandwiches, and delicious sauces that satisfy any flavor craving.
Erbert & Gerbert’s is a sandwich shop dedicated to serving better, more flavorful sandwiches.
