St. Cloud Times — St. Cloud City Council approved Monday wine and beer licenses for St. Cloud State University.
The licenses allow for the sale of beer — and wine at the suite level — at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center and adjacent facilities. Chartwells, the university’s food service vendor, will facilitate liquor service at events.
City Council approved granting the wine and beer licenses on a 5-2 vote, with Councilman Jeff Johnson and Councilwoman Carol Lewis voting against the motion.
