St. Cloud State will salute its former president at the men’s Huskies Hockey game 7:07 p.m. Dec. 10 at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

During first intermission, family members of the late President Earl H. Potter III will gather on the ice for a presentation.
The presentation will include a framed men’s hockey jersey bearing the number 22. Potter, who died in a June car accident, was St. Cloud State’s 22nd president.
A video tribute, featuring remarks by Coach Bob Motzko ’89, will be screened.
Potter’s campus memorial service was June 17 at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
The arena was dubbed “the House that Earl Built” because he spearheaded a $17 million renovation of the facility funded largely by private donations.
Ashish Viadya, interim president, will host an invitation-only reception prior to the game.
The No. 15 Huskies (6-6) host unranked University of Nebraska-Omaha (6-5-1) Dec. 9-10 in a critical National Collegiate Hockey Conference match-up.
