St. Cloud Times — #UniteCloud directors Natalie Ringsmuth and Haji Yussuf ’09 said they feel it is time to take their message of community to the next level.
Ringsmuth and Yussuf said after the results of the election, in which anti-refugee and anti-immigrant rhetoric had been used, and the rise of signs with unwelcoming messages began to show up around town, #UniteCloud needed to move beyond its normal events.
“It was clear by some of those results that some of our neighbors are fearful of their other neighbors,” Yussuf said.
