Rochester Post Bulletin — Austin High School will induct six members into its 2017 Hall of Fame class.
The six members will be inducted on Friday at halftime of Austin’s boys basketball game. They will also have a luncheon at St. Olaf Church in Austin on Saturday.
The 2017 class includes Tom Berven (Austin class of 1959), Ed Draheim (1960), Bob Motzko (1979) ’89 (St. Cloud State), Grant Hagen (1990), Dana Matthews (1992) and Rob Haedt (1993).
• Motzko lettered in football, baseball and hockey. He was on a Big Nine champion baseball team, but hockey was his best sport and one he still coaches at a high level. He was all-conference in hockey and later played two years at St. Cloud State.
