CSD’s graduate program accreditation reaffirmed

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorder’s graduate education program’s accreditation has been reaffirmed by the Council on the Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).

The new accreditation period runs through 2025.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) trains speech-language pathologists by offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders. The department runs a Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic where graduate students provide assessment and therapy to 150 clients a year.

Graduates of CAA-accredited and candidate programs are educated in a core set of skills and knowledge required for entry into independent professional practice.
