RAPS is a national organization for regulatory professional in the industries regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA): foods, drugs, devices and biologics.
The organization puts on educational programs around the country and offers a certification exam for regulatory professionals.
The Twin Cities RAPS chapter was established this year to better serves the needs of local regulatory affairs employees. The organization meets several times a year on current topic of interest. Meetings are also an opportunity for individuals to network and share experiences.
At the March 30 meeting, about 40 attendees learned how to prepare for FDA advisory committee meetings and toured St. Cloud State at Plymouth while also learning about the professional graduate program offered there: MedTech master’s degrees and certificates in regulatory affairs, clinical research and quality, a Master of Engineering Management, a Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership.
St. Cloud State at Plymouth will again hosts the RAPS Twin Cities Chapter for its May 11 meeting.
