More than 1,130 students participated in Commencement ceremonies 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 5 at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
They are among 1,574 students from 33 nations, 25 U.S. states and the District of Columbia who earned degrees spring semester. The degree earners include 1,216 undergraduate students, 345 graduate students and 13 doctoral students.
Delivering the student address at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony was Angela Mundis, St. Cloud. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in geography.
The student speaker at 3 p.m. was Emma Konopasek, De Pere Wisconsin. She graduated summa cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and Spanish.
