Sun Focus — Ed Fellows ’95 has returned to the Midwest and is ready to take on his new role as Valley View Elementary School principal.
Originally from Farmington, Minnesota, Fellows said his experience as a young student set him on his path to pursue education.
“I grew up in a house that would probably not be seen as well off as some others, and teachers really took me under their wings,” Fellows said. “Between the classroom and athletics, they really put me on a path to go to college.”
In fact, Fellows was the first in his family to graduate from college. He earned his bachelor’s degree at St. Cloud State University and completed his student teaching at Sheridan Elementary in Northeast Minneapolis.
