ST CLOUD TIMES – The youngest St. Cloud State University students may not remember the day of the Sept. 11 attacks, 16 years ago.
Brandon Askin, a fourth-year student and disabled Army veteran, said he feels sorry for those of his peers.
“They haven’t known a moment of peace,” Askin said.
Askin shared his experiences as a veteran following a somber flag raising Monday morning that marked Patriot Day, the 9/11 anniversary, at SCSU.
