POST BULLETIN —I recently finished a book, “Maureen O’ Hara — The Biography” by Aubrey Malone. Boomers will remember this actress whose career spanned decades. She was known for playing spirited heroines.
One thing evident in reading the book was that she had the strength of character even in the 1940s to immediately let a man know when he was out of line. One chapter had the story of a director who was behaving inappropriately. Maureen O’Hara slugged him in the jaw.
